Coscu is a public figure from Argentina, whose original name is “Martín Pérez Disalvo. Coscu is kind of like his stage name, using which he is popular among his fans and his audience. He is a Twitch streamer and gamer. After some of his gaming clips went viral, he attained internet recognition. He also delved into singing later in his career and yet again he surprised everyone with his skills.
Coscu was born in La Plata, a city in Argentina to doctor parents. His childhood was quite normal just like every other 90’s kid, all immersed in games and movies. He did his schooling and university in La Plata, his hometown only. Initially, he got to know that his father was suffering from an incurable disease “Alzheimer’s”, so he started looking for ways to make something out of his life. He delved into competitive gaming, and there was one game that was quite in the trend “League of Legends”, so he started playing it and competing with other players and in the process, he started winning money and prizes. Later he got more professional and skilled so he was invited to play for a professional gaming team and that was the time when he joined “Caribbean Union Gaming a Central America-based gaming team. Later he devoted himself entirely to streaming.
In the later phase of his professional career when he thought about making his content more specific, he started creating content around the league of legends only and that’s when his community started to grow. He later founded the “Coscu Army”, not like an actual army of fighters and rebels but a gaming army. They were Spanish-speaking, esports players. He created an award to recognize the best streamers and players from his community. In the year 2021, he premiered the Coscu Army Got Talent, it was an event in which he awarded the best talent in the contest.
Recently Coscu came in defense of Chapu Martínez from flack and personal attacks. It is being covered by media houses that Martín di Salvo, who want to the World Cup to create content. And he popularised the term “Bring me the Messi cup”. He was receiving hate on social media networks and someone has threatened him that they are going to kill his kid. Coscu supported him by saying that “How is he not gonna get involved? when someone is threatening to kill someone’s kid just because he went ahead and created content at the football World Cup, which is every content creator’s dream”. This truly speaks loads about the kind of human being Coscu is.
