Alberto Ángel Fernández popularly known as Alberto Fernández. He is an Argentinian politician, a quite reputed and popular lawyer, and who has also been a law professor. He is currently instated in the Argentinian president’s office as the president of Argentina as he got elected to the post back in 2019. And since then he has done a remarkable job of being a just and upfront president.
He was born in a city in Argentina named Buenos Aires, he grew up there and did his college from there. After he got his law degree, he further moved forward in his career and became a professor and specialized in criminal law. And yes this makes him the most educated president and the people of Argentina trusted to instated him as a president knowing the country would be in safe hands. He was even appointed in the past as Chief of the Cabinet of Ministers and has served his office quite diligently and responsibly under the presidentship of two of Argentina’s former presidents. He is a member of the Justicialist Party and he is quite a famous and dominant member of the party. He is quite appreciated for his outstanding policy measures during the COVID lockdown, in which he imposed calculated strict lockdowns in the severe zones of the country which helped immensely in stopping the spread of the contagious disease.
Although his presidency has also given rise to some controversies which include some of the most unfortunate events. During his presidency in the early months, Argentina’s relations with Brazil suffered immensely due to conflict with the Brazilian President immediately after the election. Although indeed it’s hard to maintain good relations with neighboring countries in certain circumstances especially when one has some border disputes, water sharing disputes or forest disputes, etc. Although previously these two countries shared a balanced approach towards one another, due to his remarks against the Brazilian president and his alleged claims that his election to the post of President of Brazil was a matter of electoral fraud.
Well, it can be validated what happened and what not but one thing’s for certain and that is things like these form big knots in the mutual relationship between two countries and it should be handled with care. Apart from that, he is a great president and has been working with quite a proficiency. He has the support of the majority of his citizens and that’s great for him.
