Bich Phuong surprised audiences with her melancholy ballads

Originally from Hanoi, Bich Phuong shot to prominence after competing on Vietnam Idol in 2010. She finished in the top ten on the television talent show.

As a bonus, Bich Phuong was able to take his fans by surprise by moving away from their preconceptions that he only sang sorrowful songs.

Bich Phuong’s “A trick,” the second single from the EP “A littleslow mood,” was released on May 31. Once upon a time, the performer asked the crowd to choose between two versions of the song “A trickor a gentle refusal,” with the promise that only one music video (MV) would be made public and the other would remain unveiled. As a result, Donkey was declared the champion.

Before the release of this item, the singer Em, born in 1989, became a viral sensation thanks to a brief but much-praised music video. Bich Phuong’s latest music video, which features mellow music and electropop, has been met with widespread acclaim.

Bich Phuong, now 31 years old, has been told by her followers that she had changed much from when she was 21. The melancholy ballad singer transforms into an introspective performer who can yet take listeners by surprise with “Send him far from memory.” While she still makes sorrowful music, modern-day Bich Phuong has a different kind of melancholy and a less “muddy” attitude than her predecessor.

Bich Phuong declared a comeback to his sad songs after some “fun” times. It has not yet come out that Em quit smoking in 2020 when fans still wonder what’s up with her “sad” music. Remember, this is a sad tune. Like Bich Phuong’s story or personal page, this melancholy approach is seen as “cool,” “personality,” and “muddy” all at the same time.

The fundamental but disruptive MV, the attractive image of Bich Phuong, and the clever statements in response to the ex have attracted a sizable portion of the target demographic. When the EP’s lead single did well, sales of the rest of the album went more smoothly. A trick reveals its meaning. The song went viral 16 hours after its release, amassing roughly 1.6 million streams.

Bich Phuong avoided more conventional terms like “betrayal” and “suffering” in favour of the modern time “trick,” which is popular among today’s youth.

Most fans have said that Bich Phuong’s popularity is on the rise, with some even going so far as to say, “the muddier, the more floating,” referring to the band’s music. “Phuong used to be miserable, Phuong today is lovely, I am still more likable,” Nguyen Huy said. Pham Nguyen Linh Chi said, “Bich Phuong is as cool as it is now.”

Although not all viewpoints are equally immersed in the drama MV of Bich Phuong, A trick was released beforehand. Contextually and aesthetically, the product falls short, but it does have some neat little touches.
