CAILLI AND SAM BECKERMAN: What A Mistake!

The Beckerman twins are Canadian fashion bloggers who are identical twins. They are also known as Caillianne and Samantha Beckerman. According to Cision, they are two of Canada’s top social influencers. They are renowned for their public appearances and fashion week-related blogging. In 2004, the Beckerman’s received their diplomas from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Prior to moving back to Toronto in 2009, they spent ten years living in New York City. Their clothing brand, Beckerman, was bought by Holt Renfrew with the assistance of their sister Chloe, a textile designer, but it failed due to the recession.

They moved back to Toronto in February 2009, and the following month they started their fashion blog. Their fashion sense has been dubbed “intergalactic” by fashion designer Jeremy Scott, and they are recognised for their “clashing, goofy, multilayered costumes.” They support modern designers like Proenza Schouler and Christopher Kane and purchase their clothing from flea markets, eBay, and online retailers like YOOX. When addressing their respective works, both of them are delightfully bubbly and colourful, but they also have a warmth and an endearingly old-fashioned guilelessness about them. They have been referred to as “human glitters” by those who have worked with them.

“Authentically synthetic” and “synthetically authentic” are just other labels for them. Both of them appear to live in their own universe, according to their father, as they delight in their respective environments. They were so occupied with playing with one another when they were young that they went three years without speaking to anyone. Although they like Scott and Lagerfeld, the twins would also appreciate a call from Vetements. They always seek out individuals who are off the radar; in other words, they are now too well-known to be regarded as independent discoveries. They frequently receive thousands of likes on Instagram, and a video of one of them unboxing a new Apple phone box received 137,000 views, and their “Hello Kitty” video received more than 200,000 views.

The majority of their business consists of photo shoots, covering fashion weeks, and throwing events in Miami, New York City, and Los Angeles. They also collaborate with businesses including Apple Inc., Coach Inc., and Chanel. They served as the H&M brand’s official bloggers for the Much Music Video Awards in Toronto in 2013. Their canines were recognised by Harper’s Bazaar as two of the coolest pets on Instagram in 2015. They were listed among the greatest internet fashion moments of 2016 by The Globe and Mail. Additionally, in 2016, they were included in a list of “20 Canadian Instagrammers You Need to Follow” published by The Huffington Post. They have more than 160,000 followers. The Beckerman received CAFA’s 2017 Digital Fashion Influencer of the Year Award. The twins speculate that their future ambitions could involve writing a children’s book and working on fitness-related ventures.
