Damian McKenzie’s surprising switch!

Imagine complete silence in the stadium, every single audience is in anticipation and they seem quite eager to know what’s gonna happen next. A rugby ball rustles among the players. Then comes a smile and all of a sudden the whole crowd cheers after a single kick. Well, yes! That’s Damian’s iconic smile which everyone recognizes and they all know what’s gonna happen next. And the reason behind the cheer was indeed the same.
Damian Sinclair McKenzie is a professional player of Rugby for the New Zealand national team, he is a union player and plays fullback or First five-eighth. He has built a reputation in the game through his skills and a distinct approach towards the game, he takes the game so seriously and on first impression it is evident. He started his professional career back in 2014 and since then he has stayed active in the game. If one follows rugby one must be familiar with him, and his undoubtedly remarkable skills are complemented by his agility. He is known for those moves. Throughout his career, he has played for different teams as a senior player such as Waikato, Chiefs, and Tokyo Sungoliath, and has been a part of the National team in distinct formats for the Game.

On many occasions, he has been the top scorer of the game and that’s proof of his constant dedication and performance maximization approach. Since his first international game, his debut game he has played 40 test matches for the New Zealand team. And he has been previously representing Chiefs in Super Rugby and it might come as a surprise to you but he has been their all-time highest point scorer in the game. He is the most significant player on the team and leads the team’s attack, being a front-row player.
He is in talks regarding a recent switch after playing for the All Blacks XV against the Barbarians, now allegedly he is going to switch teams, well I’m uncertain about the intricate details here but it all happened after his amazing performance in the last game against Ireland A. It is also expected that he will be staying in London for his upcoming matches playing for the Barbarians and as a result of which he won’t be seen in the off-season games anytime soon. Being such an innate skilled player comes with a lot of responsibility and he has definitely been taking care of that but he is equally empowered to make his own decisions and play for the team which indices him more.
