Darío Benedetto is a professional football player from Argentina, he also plays as a striker for Boca Juniors an Argentine club. He is agile, he is fast and he wins games. Yes, all his dedication to the game has made him immensely skilled and the crowd always has a lot of expectations from him whenever he is around the ball.
His career started way back in the year 2008 when he started playing for Arsenal de Sarandi. He played for the team from 2008 to 2013, and in this 5-year long stint, he delivered an amazing performance, which is even now remembered by the Team fans. For the team, in his 51 appearances, he has scored a total of 9 goals, which is quite a good average, considering the difficulties a player has to face in football and the level of competition for scoring just a single game. In his stint playing for the team, he was loaned out to two teams “Defensa y Justicia” and “Gimnasia de Jujuy” On the whole he played remarkably scoring 2 goals in 24 appearances and 11 goals in just 19 appearances respectively.
Later he was signed to “Tijuana”, where he stayed for a year and he played a total of 43 matches in which he scored 21 goals, which is quite huge. Then he was signed to “América in the year 2015, for which he appeared in 49 matches and he scored a total of 17 goals for them. Now comes the peak of his football career, he joins “Boca Juniors”, for the team he appeared in 49 matches and he scored a total of 32 goals, that’s close to scoring almost a goal in every match. Such consistency is rare, and he is definitely one of the finest players to grace the football. Later he played for “Marseille” but again in 2022 he was signed to Boca Juniors and in his 26 appearances he scored 11 goals, he is currently playing for the team.
A few weeks back, he received one of the major suspensions of his career. He was reportedly suspended for his expulsion against Racing for which he received a harsh penalty and he was given 4 suspension dates by AFA Disciplinary Court, for which his compliance is a must, and it’s all happening at a time when the 2023 League Tournament is around the corner. Dario is an outstanding player who is always hard at work and never misses his practice sessions. He definitely thinks about football so religiously and that’s the reason why he was able to shape himself as such a good player.
