Flip the Script: An Intriguing New Approach to the Same Old Hania Aamir

Pakistani actress Hania Aamir performs in Urdu on television and in movies. In the 2016 Pakistani comedy film Janaan, she made her acting debut and was nominated for the Lux Style Award for Best Supporting Actress. Aamir gained notoriety for playing the girl next door in Visaal and the beauty-obsessed, cheating wife in Titli. She went on to become successful by appearing in the 2019 romantic film Anaa as well as the comedy-drama Na Maloom Afraad 2 and the aerial combat war Parwaaz Hai Junoon, both of which are among the highest-grossing Pakistani movies. After that, Aamir was featured in the romantic drama film as an unfaithful wife who is infatuated with her appearance. The series, which aired on Urdu 1, was a contemporary adaptation of the book Beauty and the Beast. She experienced a breakthrough thanks to the success of the series, which led to widespread public awareness. She won the Hum Award for Best Television Sensation Female for her work in the love drama Phir Wohi Mohabbat on Hum TV.

She was Shehzad Sheikh’s co-star in the romance, drama Anaa, where she played the feisty heiress of the fictitious city of Shergarh. In addition to acting, she and Sahir Ali Bagga sang the series’ theme song, which has received 8 million YouTube views. She played Romaisa Siddique alongside Feroze Khan in the love drama Ishqiya. She was nominated in the 2nd Pakistan International Screen Awards for Best Actress TV. She plays the flirtatious Sanam in Momina Duraid’s Dil Ruba in the same year. In the family drama Mere Humsafar, she was featured playing Hala Hamza alongside Farhan Saeed. In addition to Pakistan, the serial has enjoyed tremendous popularity in Bangladesh, India, and Nepal. She appeared as Gul Meena alongside Zaviyar Ijaz. 

 

The script of the serial won accolades from critics, although it was criticized for giving stereotyped portrayals of Pakhtoons. It lost its signal. Aamir dismissed rumors that she was dating singer Asim Azhar during a live interview with Aima Baig. Trolls started targeting Hania after a controversial video of her with actor Aashir Wajahat went viral. One of the most well-known performers from Pakistan, Hania Aamir, is now stealing the show with her ongoing drama, Mere Humsafar. The drama, in which Farhan Saeed plays the male protagonist, has developed a cult following in India. Not to mention, Pasoori from Coke Studio has been replaced by the film’s OST as the trending music on Instagram reels. While everyone is enamored with Hania Aamir’s drama, the actor also appears to be keeping up with local fashion. A new video of Hania Aamir that has an Indian link is making everyone on the internet chuckle. Hania and her Mere Humsafar co-star Hira Khan joined the viral “Aapko Kya” trend started by the daytime serial opera Anupamaa.
