Food is Love at first sip and first bite: Katie

Katie is a food blogger who lives to eat, or you can say eat to live. Food is her freedom of expression. She knows what sets her mood. The moment she sees food she is cheered up. Living in NYC proved an enthralling experience for her when she found out she can explore the varieties of food there. NYC has a lot more options than just a shopping place. Try amazing Koyo Newyork with foods and scenic views to cater to. Her travel trips take her to the places where she can explore food as much as she can.

She knows why Paris is her favorite spot.

As she knows it is much more than just the Eiffel Tower. A hutong brunch spread at hutong NYC is her go to place. Her recent Vancouver trip was a memorable one where she explored the varieties of food such as dim sum at home from sun sui Wah. Sushi takeout from childhood were proved to be the best choice at sushi Baraj Isai. It is recommended by everyone which is mostly available at a Vietnamese restaurant. You can also go for a picnic treat and do some mini hiking. The contemporary Canadian tasting menu with BC wine pairing with the shrimp tacos are awesome. Her favorite HK style roast meat is, she suggested, available at Chinatown BBQ. The most recent food option was her favorite Cantonese Seafood restaurant at Kirin restaurant group.

Food is a love at first sip and first bite for her and she loves to hangout in Brooklyn that serves nostalgic Hong Kong classic comfy dishes she grew up eating.  She doesn’t even know which dish to talk about as there are so many and so difficult to choose from. Her preferences are Cheng Fu, Gai Tong, Yeung Yu Sang Choi Bao as whole fish and Gnow Yuk Chow Mein. the contrast between the super crispy exterior and the chewy interior and it made for a varied and satisfying eating experience. She loves Gai tong which is made of chicken soup with herbs served out of a metal teapot that you pour into cups, a very memorable presentation and nourishing taste. Yeung Yu Sang Choi Bao– a rainbow trout is deported and stuffed with minced shrimp. The result is an individual slice of fish cake which you are meant to eat on a fresh strip of lettuce and pile it with herbs and a perfect mustard sauce. She loves fish cakes and loves this very fresh whole fish version. She loves to eat good black pepper sauce fried beef (sounds so appetizing), the velvety black pepper sauce over super crispy noodles and lots of beef makes a perfect combination.  For cocktails, she is an MSG Martini fan which is made from gray goose vodka or botanist gin, olive brine, wine + MSG. it tastes so savory and umami which is a damn try out.

Katie’s gastronomic list makes me hungry now.
