For richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health: JaMill’s love story

Without mentioning the no-filter duo JaMill, Jayzam and Camille are the epitome of successful Filipino YouTubers. The two have come a long way since starting their YouTube channel in 2017, and they have since finished building their long-awaited home in Nueva Ecija, Philippines. (The entire trip was documented on their channel, by the way.)

Two of the most well-known YouTubers in the nation are Camille Trinidad and Jayzam Lloyd Manabat, collectively known as JaMill. They launched their channel three years ago, and it has over 11 million subscribers as of this writing. While Camille is from Gapan, Nueva Ecija, Jayzam was raised in Binangonan, Rizal.

They were the fourth-best content producer on YouTube in 2020.

After Jayzam started to enjoy Camille’s Musical.ly posts and images, the couple connected on Facebook, and he frequently liked and commented on her articles. As a result, they ultimately spoke and met in person. He often wanted and commented on her posts, which prompted them to communicate and eventually become friends.

In November 2016, they first got together. After courting Camille for a few months, Jayzam proposed to her on January 30, 2017. They had a long-distance romance because Camille was from Nueva Ecija and Jayzam lived in Rizal.

2017 saw the launch of the JaMill channel. The pair explained why they launched the vlog in an interview with Magandang Buhay.

“We liked producing videos before we met. Therefore, we decided to test YouTube so that we could record our daily life. So that we would have something to watch as we became older,” Camille added.

Online haters and critics attacked the pair as well. In their Toni Talks episode, Camille acknowledged that she had cried and missed sleep because of hateful comments in their early years of vlogging. Jayzam added that some users had even threatened to kill them.

“It’s astonishing that individuals would say such things about us when all we want to do is amuse others. In addition, we’re not hurting anybody,” they added.

They eventually admitted that, even though their practical jokes were innocent, they wanted to set a better example for their subscribers, who are primarily teenagers.

“As we age, we develop into more responsible adults. He added in Magandang Buhay that the quality of our vlogs is also improving.

The pair moved into their house in December 2019, and their now-deleted channel frequently showed images of it. The couple expressed their wonder at how they were able to realize their aspirations in a post from February 2020. Jayzam and Camille were pictured in the post posing in front of their brand-new house and two vehicles.

According to JaMill, their channel opened up more chances. They have a store where they provide “Mandirigma” shirts for sale. They launched a milk tea store in July 2021.

“We’re surprised. But it’s good that one of our jobs as YouTubers is to amuse people. When asked about the expansion of their YouTube channel, Jayzam replied on Magandang Buhay, “It’s not at all exhausting to work.

It may be overwhelming for anyone to see overnight growth in fame like the couple experienced. But they will never forget their humble beginnings, which helps these content producers “remain grounded.”
