Ladies and gentlemen I present to you the fast-growing multi-talented Nigerian songwriter Ahmed Ololade was known by his stage name Asake. He was born in the city of Lagos. He comes from a Muslim family. Growing up, his father worked as an entrepreneur at the same time his mom was a trainer. Ahmed Ololade is a famous Nigerian musician who’s known professionally as Asake. He is a singer and songwriter cherished by millions of Afrobeats fans for his vocal prowess and catchy song terms. He broke out within the enterprise when he dropped the 2020 single, Lady. He rose to stardom after being signed to YBNL Records by the label boss, Olamide. Another music that multiplied his presence was Mr. Money. He launched his debut EP, Ololade Asake, which turned into a commercial success internationally. He is one of the shining stars within the Street Pop and Afrofusion tune scenes. Ahmed Ololade regarded professionally as Asake began his journey into the artistic discipline as a dancer. As a young boy, he cherished dancing and was superb at it. He specialized in cultural dance, spending his free hours practicing dance to improve his talent. As an excessive college student, he entertains his schoolmates and friends with lively cultural dances.

It was from dancing that he got the nickname, Asake. Although Asake cherished dancing, he also had a gentle spot for the song. Gifted with a sonorous voice, he often pleased his near friends and classmates with at the beginning composed songs and covers of popular songs. He was determined to infuse singing with his dancing because he wanted to be a better entertainer. On the side, he was also a drummer and a member of his school’s song band. Inspired by using the success of song stars like Olamide, Davido, Wizkid, 9ice, and Wande Coal, he joined the Afrobeats tune space, specializing in Afrofusion songs. He fuses Hip Hop, Amapiano, R&B, and Fuji sounds to create a song that might stand out from other artists. He commenced as a backup singer for Broda Shaggi‘s band, he collaborated with Broda Shaggi to launch the single ‘Star’ in 2019. The song did pretty well in the marketplace and helped tune enthusiasts’ research of his skills.

Encouraged by this win, he launched the single Lady in January 2020. The music went viral on social media because one of some influencers reposted the single on their pages and content creators used it as a heritage track of their videos. The achievement of Lady paved the manner for Asake to drop the hit music,Mr. Money, which was one of the trending singles of 2020. The track earned him a second nickname: Mr. Money. In 2022, Asake dropped the single Omo Ope. The music went viral on the internet. And this time around, it was given to the ears of rapper and music executive, Olamide. The older artist fell in love with the track and was determined to document his verse to the single. Shortly after, Olamide invited Asake for a meeting and presented to sign him to the YBNL report label. He took the offer and joined the YBNL family. He was unveiled as YBNL‘s trendy signee on the eighth of February 2022.
