How did Shamma Hamdan deal with criticism ?

Shamma Hamdan, the first Emirati woman to make it to the finals of the popular reality show Arabs Got Talent, has been discovered by the world. The 18-year-old has had her share of ups and downs in fame, but she is unfazed by criticism and promised to surprise audiences at her next performance. After becoming the first Emirati woman to make it to the finals of the popular reality television show, the Dubai schoolgirl, who was just 18 years old, suddenly finds herself in the full spotlight of the celebrity world. One judge called her performance, in which she sang Gulf Arabic while strumming a guitar, “breathtaking”. But at the same time, some of her fellow citizens have reacted negatively to her decision to appear uncovered.

She does, however, appear to be unaffected by fame’s ups and downs for the time being. She says, referring back to her audition for the show, “I have accomplished one of my biggest dreams.”People heard what I had to say and listened to my music.” She responds that her “very relaxed guitar look,” which she describes as consisting of comfortable trousers, a suede purple jacket, wavy short hair, and a bandanna around her neck, was inspired by her father, who was the one who taught her to play the guitar for the first time. “That is just one side of me the world saw, there is a lot to me besides that one style of performance. They couldn’t attack me on my singing and skills, and so they found something else to criticise and attack,” she said. “My clothing.”

Shamma shows a more feminine side in her interview with The National, introducing herself with a shy smile and a confident handshake. She is wearing a pair of black loafers, a gold Fendi necklace, a silky white shirt with a horse head pattern, and black suit pants. She apologizes for her unruly hair and explains that she just took a brief nap following an exam. Her blue-flecked green eyes and dimple, on the other hand, make her stand out. Shamma admits that she was especially concerned about Ali Jaber, the Lebanese journalist and academic known for being the most critical of the three judges, prior to her appearance on Arabs Got Talent, which was filmed in Beirut. It turned out that nothing to be concerned about.Another judge, the legendary Lebanese singer Najwa Karam, told her, as the audience enthusiastically applauded: “You were stunning. Even though you are still a young person, your Arabic singing is amazing. The verdict from Jaber came next. “Shamma, your voice is crystal clear”.He said, “I like you. “I really enjoyed your show and your performance. Shamma comments at that point, “That’s when I realized.I have passed.”

Today Shamma has released more than 40 singles with her magical voice and She would not have been able to accomplish any of this without the help of her four sisters and brother. Her mother is employed by the Ministry of Education, and her father is employed by the Civil Defense. The entire family enjoys music at home. “We are a musical family, where when we don’t play musical instruments, we sing and dance to music,” she says. “Music is in our genes.”
