English dancer and choreographer Curtis Pritchard is well-known for his work as a professional dancer on the Irish edition of Dancing with the Stars. Pritchard competed in the fifth season of the British dating reality show Love Island in 2019 and came in fourth. Like his brother AJ Pritchard, Curtis Pritchard is a professional dancer. His prior work includes Strictly Come Dancing’s Irish equivalent, Dancing With The Stars Ireland. After dancing together since they were 12 years old on Dancing With The Stars, Curtis dated Emily Barker for two years before it was revealed on January 5th, 2019, that they had broken up. Pritchard was named as one of the professional dancers for Ireland’s Dancing with the Stars debut. Thalia Heffernan, a model, was his partner.
They placed ninth when they were ousted from the competition in week four. Businesswoman Norah Casey teamed with Pritchard. The first pair to be eliminated from the competition was Casey and Pritchard. Pritchard was scheduled to compete in the 2019 series alongside model Holly Carpenter. However, due to an attack on December 27, 2018, he was forced to withdraw for five weeks. Trent Whiddon, a former Strictly Come Dancing pro, took his spot. Pritchard said in November 2019 that he would not be doing a fourth season. Before entering Love Island, Curtis publicly acknowledged Emily, claiming, “My ex-girlfriend was my dancing partner.” We were the champs and danced with each other from the age of twelve to fourteen. We both ended up competing on Dancing with the Stars in Ireland as adults and started dating.
When you’re dancing with someone, you spend a lot of time together. You are constantly in close contact, so it would be strange not to feel anything, whether it’s just the desire to be best friends or to fall in love. In an interview with The Sun after leaving the villa, Curtis said he’s open to dating males in the future. He claims: “When I was 17, or 18, I kind of lost interest in dancing. I had 13 different dancing partners, but I wasn’t making progress toward my goals as quickly as I would have liked. Curtis continues, “To this day I regret doing it because I didn’t achieve things I should have done and didn’t reach the level I should have reached. ” He then says he spent a lot of time partying with his buddies. In the early evening of December 28, 2018, AJ and Curtis were out on a Boxing Day night at the Nantwich club Nakatcha when they fell prey to an “unprovoked attack.” AJ suffered from bruising to his face, arms, body, and legs, while Curtis needed an urgent operation to repair the damage.
According to a spokeswoman for the brothers, “On December 27, 2018, AJ and Curtis were attacked while out with two friends in Nantwich, Cheshire. This was an unjustified attack. On This Morning on January 2, 2019, the brothers later made an appearance, and Curtis gave an explanation of what they believed caused the attackers’ attack. All I can say is that perhaps it was jealousy. As AJ commented, “Doing our TV show, Strictly, it’s usually really positive.” AJ was getting images from people. It’s never in a bad way. The sad thing in this situation is that I will always answer “yes” if someone approaches me gently for a photo.
