I only hear your voice in the middle of silence – Luciano Pereyra

Luciano Pereyra, born on 21st September 1981, is a popular Argentinian singer and lyricist. When he was three years old, his parents started noticing his interest in music and then gifted him a guitar as a Christmas present. They had no clue he would grow up to be such a big artist. Later at the age of nine, he participated in a reality show, “Festilindo” and at the age of 10, he sang the song “Solo le Pido a Dios” by León Gieco in Xuxa’s TV program. It was his first unofficial major performance and the crowd loved him. This song gave a big boost to his carrier in the year 2000, when he sang it for Pope John Paul II in the Vatican city, representing Latin America in the Jubilee Youth. Luciano Pereyra recorded his first album in the year 1998 named Amaneciendo (Dawning), containing 13 songs amalgamating zambas, waltzes, carnavalitos, and ballads.
His first hit was “soy un inconsciente” (I’m reckless); this song imminently went quadruple platinum. It made him immensely popular in Argentina and earned him a reputation throughout Latin America. In the year 1999, he rendition a recital in Buenos Aires at Teatro Opera and also won awards named Consagración, Revelación. In March 2000, he released his second album Recordándote (Remembering You), including the song “Sólo le Pido a Dios” (I only ask of God), the songs written by himself. He was promoting this album for a long time and there was huge excitement among his fanbase. For three successive weeks, his song was at the top of the national ranking and he was chosen to sing the Argentine National Anthem during the farewell tribute to Diego Maradona.

In June 2002, Luciano Pereyra released his third album entitled Soy Tuyo (I’m yours), a disc containing bolero and tango influence. By this time he had a mad fanbase on his side. They were all so excited about this release and it was quite a popular topic on social media sites and the music industry. He had sung duets with artists such as Rodrigo Bueno, Soledad Pastorutti, and Alejandro Lerner. He also performed concerts for six nights at Teatro Gran Rex. In June 2003, Luciano released his fourth album “Perdóname” (Forgive Me) written by himself. In November 2006, he released the fifth album of his career Dispuesto a amarte (Willing to Love You), with a romantic song titled “Porque aún te amo” (Because I Still Love You) as a big hit.
He was also influenced by Rudy Pérez, a producer and composer who had worked with artists such as Cristian Castro, Chayanne, Luis Fonsi, and Luis Miguel. Currently, he owns a youtube channel named “Luciano Pereyra” with 2.02 million subscribers, where he keeps posting his music videos. He also owns an Instagram account @lucianopereyraoficial with 2.7 million followers, where he keeps sharing short videos of a music concert and his upcoming songs for his fans. Recently, he took his Instagram handle and shared a post of his upcoming music #SinhaberDormido with Pedrocapo.
