Ion Perez and Vice Ganda’s Love Story

Ion’s presence in the live audience of an episode of Gandang Gabi Vice in 2017 drew the host’s eye, and their love story started to take shape. He competed in Mr Universe-Tourism at the time alongside other pageant champions.

They had no idea that a year later, when Ion was introduced as the “Kuya Escort” in the Miss Q & A part of the noontime show, their paths would cross again. The unplanned skits they performed with Jackie Gonzaga, also known as “Ate Girl,” made the madlang crowd feel killing and upbeat. This effect was heightened when Ion presented Vice to his mother, Zeny, who had been watching the performance live in 2018 on his son’s birthday.

Ion acknowledged that the Unkabogable Star is “important” to him in a special appearance on an episode of GGV in March 2019 that also featured Charo Santos-Concio and Bea Alonzo as guests and the leads from the movie “Eerie.” He replied that he was terrified that their relationship would end when they asked him what he was afraid of.

When Vice’s beloved mommy Rosario and her sister Emma visited the following month, it was Ion’s turn to meet them. He questioned them. Ion had travelled to Canada with the Unkabogable host and his family.

They finally declared their romance in October 2019 at the It’s Showtime 10th anniversary party after their families met in Tarlac, Ion’s hometown, in July 2019. You don’t have to be adored by everyone. Vice said as she introduced him. You need one person you love and yourself to accept and love you back. And I am now meron.”

They revealed that Ion had genuinely proposed to him on February 21, 2020, in front of a few of his friends for the first time. Vice, despite accepting it, instructed his pals to erase any photos or videos they had taken from their phones, and he even made a valiant effort to keep it a secret from the bosses because he didn’t want to share it with the world just yet for fear of being mocked and judged.

They admitted that they had initially envisioned holding a lavish ceremony. Still, the pandemic prevented large crowds from assembling because they were both so eager to wed that they did it without their relatives’ and friends’ attendance and with only $5 wedding rings.

Vice Ganda and Ion Perez have already announced that they had a wedding commitment ceremony in late 2021, ending months of rumours.

According to the graphic card that Vice Ganda tweeted an hour before the vlog was aired, the wedding took place on October 19, 2021, and was documented in a 14-minute vlog broadcast by the comedian-host on February 13, 2022.

The pair concluded the movie by revealing additional pictures from the wedding and images of their engagement and wedding rings. However, it should be noted that same-sex unions are not yet permitted in the Philippines.
