Javier Hernandez : Mexico’s Highest Goal Scorer Of All Time

From signing his first professional contract with a local club at the age of 15 to becoming the first-ever Mexican player to be selected for one of the leading ‘Premier League teams, Javier Hernandez has shown the world what true determination and consistency can do.

He was signed by “Premier League” club “Manchester United” in July 2010, making him the first-ever Mexican player to be chosen for one of the tops “Premier League” teams. He had a flawless minutes-to-goal ratio when playing for “Manchester United,” one of the greatest in Premier League history. Javier also happens to be the top goal scorer for the Mexican national team in away matches.

He was born into a family of sportspersons, his grandfather and father were both former national-level athletes. While his grandfather was a member of the Mexican national team that competed in the 1954 “FIFA World Cup,” his father played in the “FIFA World Cup” in 1986.

It was anticipated that Javier would develop a liking for football at a young age given that he came from a household of football players.  The fact that his father was a football coach for a few local teams reinforced Javier’s passion for the game, his training started when he was 5 years old. When he was 7 years old, he participated in his first-ever professional game. The “Mexican Recreation League” was where he competed.

At age 9, he was already making headlines, dominating competitions in his area and outperforming in local tournaments. Javier joined the junior team of the club CD Guadalajara, before signing his first professional deal with them at the age of 15 as previously reported. Javier has a massive fan following not only because of his gameplay but also his modelesque pictures on the gram as a product of brand deals and collaborations. Javier has collaborated with really big brands in the past and still continues to do so because he has a massive fan following and also has the credibility and authority of an Influencer.

Even though many people say that Javier was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, that’s not true because he had his fair share of misfortunes and struggles too. He experienced a brief setback in 2011 when he was concussed during a practice game in New York, he was warned to exercise caution and this accident also affected his game. He re-signed with “Manchester United” in October 2011 and agreed to play for the team for the following five years. He consistently scored. He scored 12 goals in 36 games for his team.

In the 2010 “FIFA World Cup,” Javier played for the national team, marking his “World Cup” debut. Since then, he has participated in every “FIFA World Cup” tournament. He is presently regarded as the Mexican player with the most goals scored on the international stage. In addition to his career, Javier Hernández is a devout Christian, he comes from a traditional Catholic family. Each game, he kneels down and offers a prayer and in a few interviews, he even talked about how praying to god before every match makes his performance better and also boosts his confidence.
