Johannes is not letting his leg injury be an obstacle.

Johannes Høsflot Klæbo is a Norwegian cross-country skier. He is 25 years old and represents Byasen IL. He is a very skilled individual and has a long list of titles in his name. He is holding a record for being the youngest male in history to win the FIS Cross-country World Cup. He has also won tournaments like the Tour de Ski, the World Championship event, and an Olympic event in cross-country skiing, which is remarkable in itself for such a young skier. He started his professional career back in 2015-16 by participating in the World Cup which was held in Norway. Although he finished in the 15th position in the race still it gave him the motivation to practice more and more and eventually win in future tournaments. He always had that eagerness to go for unprecedented remarkable achievements as he wanted to establish himself as one of the best in the game. His breakthrough moment came in 2016 when he finally came third in a sprint tournament held in Finland. Later he won more and more tournaments like the “FIS Nordic World Ski Championship”, and “Sprint World Cup”, and in 2018 Winter Olympics”. He has never looked back from that point on and currently, he is the winner of the Olympic Gold Medal, over five times. And the World Champion Gold medal six times.

A lot has happened with Johannes in the last month, recently as an event organised at the Olympic venue of Soldier Hollow in Utah, he held a clinic for local cross-country ski racers where a young skier (likely 10 years or so) gave him an official Soldier Hollow cap. Johannes seemed quite happy to get such a memorable gift and that too from a young boy. Well, apart from that his hamstring injury still persists and which is causing him quite some difficulty in practicing for the upcoming tournaments. Johannes’s persistence can be acknowledged by the fact that despite his injury he is still continuing his practice with some change in schedule and his drills. He likes to stay focused on his game, and likes to push his boundaries, he is fond of the cold breeze which touches his cheeks, when he is skiing fast, and all he wants is to accelerate more and more, and the same goes for his career.
