He thrives to share his parenting journey and to do his best to help others in a similar way. He believes that when we focus on where the child is developing that’s when we as parents are in a better position to respond rationally during stressful times. It helps parents view and resolves things differently instead of going against the child.

Tom Piccirilli is a dad of 4-year-old baby Luca. He tries to encourage parents to make decisions that work for them and their families. He looks forward to empowering parents with the knowledge to help with making decisions. New parents tend to be pressurized by society. There are often assumptions such as “good babies” are the ones who sleep well at night, children who sleep with their parents are “needy babies”, and parents melt down when kids throw tantrums.

Tom says I don’t think anything can prepare you for losing a child. It was completely earth-shattering and it’s fair to say that, from that moment, our lives changed forever. Oddly there weren’t many tears when we were with her. It’s as if we were thankful to be in her presence. We talked to her and told her all about Luca and her family. We took photos and let her know how proud we were of her. Although she didn’t get a chance at this life, she continues to have a positive impact on our lives every day”.

The couple is expecting a baby girl in December. The couple has experienced 5 miscarriages till now. Tom further adds “We’ve had a tough road when it’s come to growing our family and Laura is being closely monitored every week, so we’re crossing everything that our little girl arrives safely at the end of the year”.  Tom shares that he finds it comfortable talking to others about his family’s experience and is keen on raising awareness to help couples in need.
