LISA’s insane growing popularity

Pranpriya Manoban, popularly known as Lalisa Manoban, was born in Bangkok, Thailand, on March 27, 1997. She is a Thai rapper, dancer, singer, and model. She presently resides in South Korea. She is the newest member of BLACKPINK. She is a well-known K-pop sensation and the youngest member of the girl group BLACKPINK. She plays as the primary dancer, rapper, and support vocalist for the band BLACKPINK. She is of Thai nationality and is the only child of her parents. She is a native Thai speaker and is fluent in Korean, Japanese, and English. She was brought up by her stepfather, a well-known chef in Thailand, and was a member of the Thai dancing group “We zaa cool.” She also practices Buddhism. When she was still relatively young, she joined the independent band Chucky, which helped establish her musical career. She quit the band and relocated to Tokyo to pursue a solo singing career when the band disbanded. 

She even had a notable debut with the release of the mini-album LETTERS TO U. Additionally, she has performed a great deal of anime theme songs live, including Fat Zero, Sword Art Online, and Demon Slayer. She has consistently kept a prominent position on the Oricon weekly charts. Before switching to acting alongside Madge Nelson in the Japanese dub of the cartoon feature Minions, she also performed in Nippon Budokan in 2014. Lisa changed her name from “Panpriya” to “Lalisa” since she was advised to do so by a fortune teller after being told that her previous name might not bring her much luck. It is a Thai name that means “one who is praised.” She is also well-known for her many other nicknames, including Lalice, Pokpak, and Limario, to mention a few.

 She officially joined the YG trainee programme when she was just 14 years old, and it was a big accomplishment for her. You’d be shocked to learn that she has a fear of needles called tropophobia, which made one of her vaccination procedures challenging. She became the most popular K-pop idol with 81.9 million followers on Instagram alone. She has an incredible sense of presence on stage, and the way she performs sets her apart from the competition. In South Korea, people hold her in high regard. Even though she sings, her true passion is dancing, and as a dancer, she plays the main lead. Having such a sizable fan following makes managing the popularity challenging. She became who she is now as a result of numerous challenges.
