Maymay Entrata: Dream Big and Believe

Maymay is known as Miss Wacky-Go-Lucky of Cagayan De Oro due to her eccentric, humorous, and outgoing nature. It was demonstrated by the fact that she consistently made the house laugh, which helped her escape nominations.

Marydale “MayMay” Entrata, 24, was a student at Mindanao University of Science and Technology in Cagayan De Oro (MUST). She was chosen from a group of auditionees by the famous housemates themselves. Her mother is an overseas worker in Japan, and her father left when she was a year old to start a new family.

She initially tried out for Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash 2010, but she was not accepted. She gave Pinoy Big Brother: 737 another shot. However, she could not get a spot after the auditions this time.

She even tried to audition for Pilipinas Got Talent and The Voice because she could sing, but she was unsuccessful.

Then, her beloved Papa Joe, her grandfather, became ill. This situation strengthened her resolve to perform well in her upcoming audition.

She passed the audition for Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7 and joined the show as Miss Wacky-Go-Lucky of Cagayan De Oro.

The “Wacky-go-lucky of Cagayan de Oro” said that the reason she joined Pinoy Big Brother (a Philippine version of the Big Brother reality game show franchise. The word Pinoy in the title is a colloquial term for the Filipino people.) is to get her mom and brother back who is currently in Japan, and there’s never a dull moment while the housemates bond with 19-year-old Maymay Entrata.

Maymay was a typical college student before she joined PBB, and she revealed that there was a time when her allowance for attending school was only 5 pesos. She claimed that while she had the choice of using the P5 to pay for either transportation or meals, she always opted to do so.

The essential thing to her is love, which she defines as “you don’t know how to care for someone if there isn’t love,” while the family is “they’re your life-long companion to everything.”

She said that God is the source of everything and that this is all temporary when questioned about Him.

She developed close relationships with the other house residents throughout her time there. Since she was the oldest of the Teen Housemates, she also volunteered to serve as their Big Sister.

Maymay is well known for being an ardent fan of ABS-CBN celebs, and her priceless fangirl reactions whenever well-known celebrities visit the house turned into one of the Season’s most memorable moments. She consequently earned the nickname “National Fangirl.”

In addition to that, she was the Season’s most targeted housemate. This Season’s Teen Edition of Big Brother has seen many pranks in May.

She was also the first occupant to regularly vacate the residence without waiting 24 hours. She left the house twice during Week 8 to attend her grandfather’s funeral and wake, who had passed away while she was inside.

Maymay Entrata is a very fortunate woman.

The ultimate victor of Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7 (PBB) has shown that success requires a combination of luck and the willpower to pursue your goals no matter what.

She was reared in Cagayan de Oro but was born in Camiguin and has since established herself in the entertainment world, and her star is just getting brighter.

After PBB, projects came line by line from TV series, movies, commercials, endorsements, modelling, and her latest ramp modelling.

Maymay Entrata: First Filipina to Walk the Runway at Arab Fashion Week | Dubai OFW

In 2018, Maymay was personally invited by Dubai-based Filipino designer Furne One and fashion PR Josh Yugen to be Amato Couture’s muse for its Pre-Fall 2019 collection in the Arab Fashion Week 2018. The event, held on November 21, 2018, was a smashing success, with Maymay slaying the runway with two creations of Furne.

The 5’7″ morena beauty received loud cheers from the crowd when she stepped on the runway.

She was so happy that the bashers could not dampen her spirit.

And even though with a busy schedule, she continued by highlighting the value of education.

Education is crucial. You will always carry it with you, no matter where you go. Additionally, the experience is priceless, the speaker added.

She saw herself as a typical student and admitted, “My weakness is English; I find it difficult. That is why I decided to major in it.

Maymay has currently started up her college studies online. Even in the first semester of her school, she was ranked #1 among students.

When asked why she deserves to be the big winner in an interview, she answered, “I want to be an inspiration to everyone.”

“I will do everything to be an inspiration for everyone especially to those who are hopeless to reach their dreams,” she added.

Truly, Maymay is an inspiration to everyone. Not just for teens but for those who have big dreams. There’s nothing impossible in dreaming big and working hard for it.
