Morena beauty and out of comfort zone Ylona Garcia

Ylona Garcia‘s upbeat demeanour and developing vocals have won the hearts of the Filipino people. The adorable 15-year-old, whose Filipino parents gave birth to her in Australia, is well-known for her involvement in Pinoy Big Brother. The Filipina doll, who was already famous before appearing on the show, has become even more popular since then, developing into a young lady with a vivid personality and charm.

Ylona discussed how she experienced bullying due to her skin tone in Australia in an interview with Boy Abunda. This toughness is visible in how she conducts herself with grace and confidence, and she says, “But I’m thankful for those scars. I wouldn’t be who I am now if it weren’t for them.” She takes pride in her morena skin tone and Filipina traits, which enhance her beauty.

“I count it a blessing that I could contact my pals in Australia. I discovered a point of agreement as we exchanged stories. I was 18 at the time, a period when we were expected to feel strong, independent adults. In a recent virtual group interview with the inquirer, the 19-year-old recording artist remarked, “But we didn’t feel that way, which was highly upsetting. The Filipino-Australian singer makes her “independence clear and dispels the illusion that she can be misled and controlled by anyone” in the danceable bop, reminiscent of 1990s pop.

Ylona recently released the song as part of a “Valorant trailer introducing Neon—a young Filipino agent who possesses “bioelectric” powers. The song’s message makes it an appropriate fit for the recent launch of the new playable character of Riot Games’ wildly popular first-person hero shooter game “Valiant.” Ylona claimed that Neon emits attributes that she also aspires to possess.

“I considered her to be cool. I’m not cool, in my opinion. She is the polar opposite of how I occasionally perceive myself. However, “Valorant” said my music fit Neon well. I feel honored. And it was enjoyable to adopt a persona when I sang “Entertain Me,” she added to the song, which has received 10 million streams and views on Spotify and YouTube.

“My fans have been amusing and supporting me greatly, even though I don’t get to see them in person. They are all considerate. Incredibly, so many new people are entering the fandom. I’m appreciative, she continued. After her time in Australia, Ylona moved to Los Angeles, California, where she is now based and pursuing a career in show business. She has officially signed with Paradise Rising, a Philippine-focused division of the American record label 88rising. This label is known for championing artists of Asian heritage that are strong and independent, such as Joji, NIKI, and Rich Brian.

“Starting a job here has always been a desire of mine. Because this was my dream and objective, some of me always knew I would arrive here. I had been to Los Angeles a few times before joining 88 [Rising], where I had started writing songs and getting to know amazing individuals. After that, 88 signed me up,” Ylona said. She counts performing at the “Head in the Clouds III” music festival at the Rose Bowl stadium in California as one of her most treasured moments as an 88Rising artist.

And what’s her plan now? In an interview with Philippine Star, she said, “That is an interesting question. Well, my goal would be to get into acting, so I guess that’s what’s next for Ylona Garcia. Also, to put out an album. To also give my family a house. I have promised them one since I started my career in the Philippines. That was one of my goals.”
