Negin Mirsalehi’s infertility struggles

Mirsalehi declined an offer of $800,000 two years ago for a brand ambassadorship with a significant hair care company. She had bigger ideas, like starting her own, independently funded hair care line called Gisou, which would offer items based on her family’s heritage as sixth-generation beekeepers. Gisou made close to $3 million in sales last year, and she continued to earn $20,000 for each sponsored Instagram post she published thanks to her 4.5 million followers. Negin Mirsalehi is a Dutch model and YouTuber who hails from Amsterdam. Her blogs on lifestyle, fashion, and beauty are well-liked. Negin has more than 5.9 million followers on Instagram in addition to being a blogger. From influencer to entrepreneur and now mother – Harper’s Bazaar Arabia meets Negin Mirsalehi on the eve of a momentous new chapter in her life.

By the time you read this, Negin Mirsalehi will be a mother. When we speak, she is just over two-weeks shy of her due date, and yes, she’s still working – although today it is from her Amsterdam home, as she speaks to me across her dining table. For the 33-year-old beauty mogul and influencer, time off is a rarity. “Every week I tell myself I’m going to take it slow, but then life happens,” she laughs. “It’s OK, thank God I really enjoy my work. And in the end, I do believe it’s something you choose. Like if I really don’t want to do those things, there’s always a choice, right? On sometimes, it might be a little overpowering, but it’s also enjoyable. Why not? If it’s that way and I can do it, why not?

Naturally, why not. However, I do have a few logistical concerns. How can you manage one of the most well-known cosmetics businesses in the world today while preparing to have a child? She claims that sincerity, “All of us were a little behind schedule. You require so much, and we have only just begun to gather and organize it all ten days ago! We had a lot of work to accomplish over the previous week, but now it’s all coming together” adding she It’s difficult to imagine having a child in a few weeks. It’s peculiar.

You’re anticipating meeting someone you hardly know at all. It must be impossible to picture life without him once he is here, but it must also be extremely difficult to envision him already being here. The businesswoman established the popular brand Gisou in 2013, utilizing honey from her Iranian family’s own bee gardens. Since then, the company has gained not just a devoted fanbase but also the respect of the cosmetics industry and international stockist. Her famous mane is amber-hued and lustrous, and her bare face glows, despite the fact that she claims she “hasn’t done” her hair for our interview. Maybe the pregnancy is to blame, or maybe the newly released Gisou beauty balm is doing its magic?
