Sheikh Nasser Bin Hamad recorded a new achievement

Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa is the head of the government’s Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Commander of the Bahraini Royal Guard, deputy chairman of the Higher Committee for Energy and Natural Resources, and member of the Bahraini royal family.

Al Khalifa is the fourth child of Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and his second wife, Sheia bint Hassan Al Khrayyesh Al Ajmi. His highness attended Ibn Khuldoon National School in Bahrai, then enrolled in the officer cadet commissioning course at Sandhurst Military Academy in the United Kingdom from 2005 to 2006, where he was awarded the King Hussain’s Medal for Outstanding Overseas Cadet and elevated to the rank of Second Lieutenant. In addition, H.H. Shaikh Nasser participated in numerous military training programs, exercises, and courses that helped him advance as a leader. Additionally, he attended the Command and Staff College of the US Marine Corps; He was stationed in Quantico, Virginia, in the United States from 2010 to 2011. Currently, his highness is a member of the Bahrain Defence Force and is in charge of the Bahrain National Endurance Team.

In 2022, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, leader of the Royal Endurance Team and representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, recorded a new accomplishment in the world of endurance sports on October 19 (BNA). His Highness imposed his control over the largest European races this season, represented by His Highness winning the Samorin Race title in Slovakia and first place in the 8-year-old World Championship, and the International Equestrian Federation announced the new achievement by occupying fourth place at the global level and first at the Gulf level which took place in Spain. Prior to that, His Highness also placed first in the Italian Grand Prix and the British Windsor Race.

On this occasion; His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa confirmed that this achievement translates to the care and support that equestrian sports enjoy from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Great Country, may God protect him, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Crown Prince.

His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa said, “These achievements did happen without an effort, but rather with collective action and a tight plan that the royal team followed since the beginning of the European season, where the team dominated the titles in its participation, and there is no doubt that the distinguished work does not pay off, we will always work to develop for the better in the coming period. ”

His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa added, “We recall with pride the achievements made in past championships, most notably the Slovakia International Championships, the 8-year World Championships for Horses, the Windsor Championship and the Italian Championship, which were a major factor in achieving fourth place in the world and first in the Gulf.”

Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa confirmed that these achievements give a great incentive for the royal team to continue achieving more goals during the coming period.
