Smokin hot: Bella Hadid

With her older sister Gigi Hadid also being a supermodel and her mother Yolado having been a well-known model in the past, it’s no secret that American model Bella Hadid was always in the spotlight. However, Bella undoubtedly distinguished herself. Hadid is a well-known supermodel who has appeared in over 150 ads and fashion shows. Since she started her career at age 16, she has appeared on innumerable magazine covers, including 27 Vogue covers at age 25. Born in Washington, D.C., on October 9, 1996, and raised in Los Angeles, California, Isabella Khairiah “Bella” Hadid is the daughter of real estate entrepreneur Mohamed Hadid and former model Yolanda Hadid. Her father is a Palestinian American, and her mother is an American of Dutch descent. Anwar, the younger brother, and Gigi, the older sister who is also a model, make up Hadid’s family. On her father’s side, she has two elder half-sisters named Marielle and Alana. Originally, Hadid and her brothers spent ten years being reared on a ranch in Santa Barbara, California. When she was a teenager, Hadid competed in equestrian competitions and had ambitions to go to the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, but she was forced to stop in 2013 owing to her severe Lyme disease. It wasn’t until October 2015 that her persistent Lyme disease was made public. In 2012, she received the same chronic illness diagnosis as her mother and brother.

Hadid relocated to New York City in the fall of 2014 and enrolled at the Parsons School of Design to study photography, signing with IMG not long after. She later dropped out of school as a result of the success of her modelling career, although she has indicated a desire to go back so she can pursue fashion photography after modelling. Hadid has acknowledged having an interest in acting. At the age of 16, Hadid debuted in a Flynn Skye commercial. Along with Ben Barnes, Hadid starred in the Lesa Amoore films “Swan Sittings” and “Smoking Hot,” modelled for the Hannah Hayes F/W 2013 collection and worked on a campaign for Chrome Hearts in the summers of 2013 and 2014.
