Saudi Arabia has undergone liberal changes, particularly in the entertainment and arts sectors. Turki Al-Sheikh is to blame for everything. Since 2019, he has served as the Chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority (GEA). He has significantly altered the Kingdom over the past three years. His revolutionary contributions to art and entertainment include three primary achievements. But who exactly is Turki Al-Sheikh?

His work in politics and government began in the Interior Ministry, followed by the Defense Ministry. He also spent three years working in the Crown Prince’s office. Al-Sheikh’s career changed, and he was made a royal advisor before being made a minister. He then became the Chairman of the General Sports Authority and the owner of the Spanish Football Club Unión Deportiva Almera. In addition, in 2019, he was appointed Chairman of the GEA Al-Sheikh who is also the advisor to the Saudi Royal Court!

The GED put on three events under his direction that made Riyadh a major entertainment destination in the Middle East.

The Joy Awards, MDLBEAST Soundstorm, and Riyadh Season are his most significant contributions that have elevated Saudi Arabia to new heights.

The Saudi Arabian production of the horror film “Cello,” starring Oscar winner Jeremy Irons and written and directed by Turki Al al-Sheikh. In a tweet with the subject line “2022,” Al al-Sheikh, shared the movie poster. The film’s script, which is based on one of his novels, was written by him. The movie was reportedly shot in Saudi Arabia and Prague, Czech Republic, on location.
