Tara G: The Juan’s new mini-series theme song released

The success of their songs like “Hatid” and the legendary “Hindi Tayo Pwede,” now an OST for the Viva Films production of the same name, has shown that The Juans truly live for music! Read on to learn the history of this well-known OPM music group! Japs Mendoza could not attend the shoot since he had classes to attend.

The Juans members led separate lives in Malolos, Bulacan, before becoming the well-known OPM group they are today. They did, however, have the same early aspiration: becoming performers.

When little Carl first saw child stars on TV, he became incredibly excited. He wanted to do what they do, which is to entertain audiences after watching them sing, act, and dance in performances.

Carl pushed himself to achieve his goal, though. He joined a music group at his local church and began taking voice and piano training while also competing in singing competitions because all of his brothers were musicians.

And just this month, the theme song for a reality program with the same name, “Tara G,” by Filipino pop rock band The Juans, was released.

Before the series’ October 7 iWantTFC premiere, the song and lyric video were published on October 2. The Juans’ Carl Guevarra, Japs Mendoza, Chael Adriano, and RJ Cruz sang the song, although it was written and created by approximately 500 compositions-recorded music industry veteran Jonathan Manalo.

The Juans will perform their first significant headline on October 23 at the Araneta Coliseum in Manila since drummer Joshua Coronel left the group in June of this year. The choice to leave was made for “personal reasons and matters,” according to reports of an amicable breakup.

The band has not yet revealed a replacement for Coronel.

The band’s debut album, “Linawag,” which was published in March 2022 and had 15 songs like “Sabik,” “Dulo,” and “Anghel,” will be played during the show. Price ranges for tickets on Ticketnet range from PHP500 to PHP5,000.

The Juans also collaborated twice with P-pop boyband SB19 last year for their holiday anthem “Dobleng GV sa FunPasko (Noon, Ngayon, Palagi)” and their February release “Push Ang Pusuan” (with Matthaios). They later performed as special guests alongside fellow local acts 4th Impact, AC Bonifacio, and Josue during the SB19 Our Zone: Anniversary Concert.

The Juans, who formed in 2013, made their musical debut in 2015 with their self-titled EP, which produced the hits “Atin Ang Mundo,” “Prom,” and “Magkasama.” The Juans’ 2018 EP, “Umaga,” which served as the title of a live album the group released in 2020, was their follow-up to their 2017 debut.
