The Health Mine of Ella Mills

Ella Woodward Mills was born on May 31, 1991, in Rugby, Warwickshire, England. She is the granddaughter of Lord Sainsbury and the daughter of renowned politician Shaun Woodward.
She attended Rugby School before earning her degree in art history in 2013 from the University of St. Andrews.

Woodward started by writing about food in a blog she founded in 2012 named Deliciously Ella which was also the title of her first book, published in 2015. In January 2016, she published her second book, Deliciously Ella Every Day, and in January 2017, she published her third book, Deliciously Ella With Friends. She used to support clean eating but changed her mind after a backlash in the media that questioned its health benefits. The Guardian, Ella’s clean-eating book series, was possibly the most popular fad diet cookbook series.

In the year 2014, Ella embarked on her entrepreneurial journey by launching an app .The Deliciously Ella app, which is available on both Playstore and Appstore has more than 100 healthy recipes, yoga meditations, vegan recipes and meditation techniques.

What began as a hobby with merely a food-related blog evolved into a plant-based food & wellness platform where delicious ways to feel healthy are shared and propagated. From a simple recipe website, the company has grown to include a restaurant, a variety of plant-based food items, an app, a number of best-selling cookbooks, a podcast, and a large and active social media following. Ella has really presented her talents and courage to make a difference in a graceful and elegant manner and continues to do so through her social media.

Ella’s journey, however, was not always smooth and painless; she experienced her share of highs and lows when she first launched Deliciously Ella in 2012, when she was still a student. After spending four months in and out of the hospital, she was given a diagnosis of postural tachycardia syndrome, Ehlers-danlos, and mast cell activation disorder in 2011. The disease had an impact on how her autonomic nervous system operated. According to Ella, this was the darkest and most difficult time in her life. At this point, she began researching more treatment options and started investigating whether changing her food and lifestyle could be of  help. She decided to adopt a whole-food, plant-based diet and completely change her lifestyle after being inspired by the stories she  read. This is what inspired her to launch her own food and health brand.

In an interview with a media channel, Ella revealed that their first product was energy balls, which got listed in around 6,000 stores across the UK and Ireland. Following the success of their debut product, customers in the UK clamored for the business to produce more of these edibles. As a result, they later introduced a line of breakfast cereals, oat bars, caramel cups, chocolate bars, nut butter balls, frozen desserts, and many more. Her core purpose is to share delicious ways for people to feel better. She believes that It gave Ella her life and health back, and now she wants to help millions achieve the same
