The Wanderer: Siddhartha Joshi

“STOP WORRYING ABOUT THE POTHOLES IN THE ROAD AND ENJOY THE JOURNEY”

As cheesy as it might sound, we all love the entire process of travelling. It all starts from thinking about where to go, short listing places, searching about them in depth, booking fights and hotels, waiting for the day to finally come, packing and then finally travelling. Isn’t the entire process so thrilling? There is so much to learn when one travels. You get to know about the culture, the language, the food, the heritage and what not. There is a different kind of satisfaction one gets while travelling.

Our article today features a true wanderer by heart: Siddhartha Joshi. Siddhartha is India’s most successful travel blogger. He has a huge fan base and is extremely popular. His Blog The Wanderer is one of India’s top Travel and Living Blog, with stories of his own interesting and beautiful travel experiences from across the world. Siddhartha started The Wanderer back in 2010, the blog has now become an essential part of who he is. In no time his travel stories and tips became a source of inspiration for others and his audience really enjoys what he writes and shares. He strongly believes in the power of traveling to break down barriers and make people more tolerant of one another. Travel writing gave him a lot of new opportunities . Be it being on channels like NDTV, Discovery, DD or being featured on CNN, TOI, HT, Huffpost, Shutterstock, TEDx. Siddhartha now not only writes for his blog, but also magazines and newspapers and he also runs a Travel Channel on Youtube.

My stay at Taj Theog Resort and Spa (@tajtheogresort) was certainly a break from from my hectic life in Mumbai, but it was also a chance for me to really check how got I was! . One of the coolest Taj experiences was the hike up on the Hatu Peak – the second highest peak in Shimla region. You can drive almost to the summit in a car via a very scenic road, but it’s only after that that the adrenaline rush starts! . Now there are a couple of rock formations which look absolutely tempting to climb, and I gave in to my temptations and climbed them both. The view from up there was simply insane 😍😍😍 . Swipe left to see more pictures of the place. . @TajHotels . #TajTheog #TajHotels #beyondshimla
