“The worst person in the word” winning people’s hearts : Renate Reinste

Renate Reinste is a Norwegian actress and she has worked in numerous films in her long career as an actress. She debuted in the year 2011 and has continued to work in Movies and Television shows for the last 11 years, which is quite long and appreciable considering the volatility of the industry. Born in Oslo, She had joined the theatre to learn acting which was later going to her big saviour. She has a very sad childhood upbringing and faced a lot of things like getting expelled from school, living in a hostel, and working in a bar. All of it was quite harsh for her but all of that shaped her into the smart and strong individual which she is known today.

She first got the opportunity to work in a Film named “Oslo, August 31st” in which she played the role of Renate. It opened up a new door of possibilities for her as she felt positive about her life after working in it. She later worked in several films, some of them received huge appreciation and Renate also got awarded for her role in them. She even received the best actress award at Cannes Film Festival in the year 2021. And for best actress in the Critics Association of Central Florida. Both these awards she received for her popular work in the movie “The worst person in the world”. Some of her famous films are “Oslo, August 31st, The Orheim Company, and Welcome to Norway.

In the movie the best person in the world, Renate plays the role of Julie. The character Julie is very vibrant and she like living her life carefree. It’s a movie that chronicles the four years of her life as a young woman who navigates the troubled waters of her love life and goes through a lot of things in the middle as she struggles to find her career path, and it all leads to a point of time where she takes a realistic look at who she really is.

In the movie it’s apparent she is living her life so carefree initially, having a couple of relationships, all of them sexual as she is driven by the extremity of it but later as she starts to feel things for one guy, things take a good turn as she sits back and tries to ponder over her life, the way she is living. Is she doing things right? She has always been motivated towards doing something in life, getting to a point in her life career-wise where she sees herself as an independent Girl, possessing the things she wants for herself and having fewer worries. In the end, she finds her real self gets realistic in her approach toward life and tries to correct things that she has been doing wrong. Finally taking a good grip on the things going on in her life.
