As we all know high heels were the major part of trend, and was really trending. People wear high heels to show up their fashion as it make them high on trend and very advanced but what happened now? High heels are outdated, and out of trend. New designed shoes and flats overcame them and today shoes and flats are the new trend in this modern age.
These days people like to wear designer flats and shoes more than heels. Shoes have overcome every foot ware and are trending from past 2 years. Shoes has evolved itself into various categories such as white flat shoes, snickers, heel shoes and many more varieties.
Now, we will discuss about the reason that why heels are out of trend.
Anti-high hell social movement
The moment against high heels has been building this momentum from past couple of years. The British Parliament came out with a report saying that a company that required employ to wear 2-4 inch heels was breaking the law. In 2015, the Cannes Films faced intense criticism after a woman with a foot injury was not allowed to enter the screening because of wearing flats even though she was well dressed. So at that time, the festival officials insisted that wearing formal dress was a compulsion not wearing heels were also the employee who barred the flat wearing woman was acted in error. One of the famous actress Julia Roberts walked on the red carpet bare foot to vote for this Anti-high heel movement. Kristen Stewart, who’s been outspoken against the heel requirement, made a big show of arriving at the red carpet in Cannes wearing Christian Louboutin heels. She then took them off in front of all the cameras and climbed the staircase into the theater barefoot.
So, this is why high heels are out of trends from past 2 years.
