Joanna Goddard was born in Paris, and she spent her childhood in France, England, and the suburbs of Michigan. She attended the University of Michigan. After graduation in 2001, Joanna moved to New York and started her career in Cosmopolitan magazine. She worked 3 years for the Cosmopolitan and was then offered a position of Editor-in-chief at Bene, which is an award-winning quarterly about Italian life.<\/p>\n

She also worked for magazines like Glamour. Joanna loved writing and all these years while gaining experience in the blogging industry; she continued to work on her personal blog \u201c A Cup of Joe<\/strong><\/em>\u201d. She started the blog in 2007 as a hobby and by 2011 Joanna\u2019s blog gained much popularity, and she decided to pay her full attention to the blog.<\/p>\n

Presently Joanna\u2019s blog has a viewership of 5 million monthly page views. ‘A Cup of Joe’<\/strong> has become one of the most popular lifestyle blogs. The pinch of motherhood in her blog is one of the most unique things found in her blog. Joanna mom of 2 wayward kids embraces her motherhood, and she also celebrates it with her online community.<\/p>\n

\"JoannaJoanna\u2019s style is to keep their readers engaged. The blog comprises of style, fashion, relationships and mom stuff. Joanna leads the charge of mom stuff and talks about her personal experience of being a mom. She has truly expressed her feeling with her readers. Being a social enthusiast, Joanna talks about mental issues on her blog too.<\/p>\n

In 2017, she announced her labour pain in one of her posts and her avid readers posted comments on her post which included, \u201cWe\u2019re rooting for you! You can do this!<\/strong><\/em>\u201d. Joanna has always kept no difference between her personal and blogging life, the way she announced her son\u2019s birth makes it quite evident of that. She has also talked about her postpartum depression in her blog.<\/p>\n

She collects that, she had a hard time while balancing her personal and professional life and she could find website talking how beautiful the pregnancy and giving birth is, but none of the sites talked about the downhill of it. Joanna decided to take up the issue and started talking about the day to day reality with no filters.<\/p>\n

Joanna shares that being a parent has helped in the process as she says: \u201c<\/strong>If<\/em> you want something to be done, give it a busy person, because they have got shit done all the time without stopping, parenting makes you strive to be more efficient than you ever imagined.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

She is redefining how we look at motherhood. The way she handles her family and professional life is an inspiration to all the mothers out there. With her efforts, she is trying her best to make people believe that being a mother is one of the most beautiful things in the world.<\/p>\n
