Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum<\/a> is the former president and the current ruler of the UAE. He has witnessed the rise of DUBAI from a sand desert to one of the top-tier global cities of the world currently. He has been part of many development projects such as the Free Economic Zone (FEZ) creation in UAE, the Palm Islands and the Burj Khalifa. He is also a billionaire and reportedly derives all his wealth from his real estate. His son Hamid is currently the crowned prince of UAE and a popular internet personality.<\/p>\n

Recently Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum has frequently been in news since FTA talks between India and UAE, and UAE\u2019s Vision 2022 is focused on a sustainable future for UAE as well as on promoting the same globally. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum stays active on his social media handles and frequently updates his followers regarding his major moves as the ruler of the UAE. He has been motivated toward the Sustainable development goals of the United Nations and he can be seen constantly making efforts to attain those goals. Recently a minister of his council inaugurated the 24th<\/sup> Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX), it was focused on bringing together major international companies who have specialisation in the respective sustainable energy and resources sectors to display newly innovated technologies and in turn most distinguished ones will be awarded investment by the government.
