What will you answer if I ask you who\u2019s the fastest man in the world? You\u2019d probably answer Usain Bolt. Well, I\u2019m not here to argue that he is not, rather I\u2019m here to tell you about someone who can run at a similar speed and is considered the world\u2019s fastest when you put obstacles on the same running pitch. Yes, I\u2019m talking about the hurdle race. Karsten Warholm<\/a> is a Norwegian Sprinter and he primarily competes in short sprinting tournaments like 400 meters and 400 meters hurdles. Although he has done remarkably well in the 400 m sprinting category, winning gold in the European Indoor Championships event held at Glasgow, but still he is a legend when it comes to 400 meters hurdles Sprinting games. He has won a total of 10 Gold in his sprinting career and some of his major wins are – Winning a gold medal in 400 meters hurdles category at the European U23 Championships which was held in 2017. Winning two golds in 400 meters hurdles category at the World Championships event held in the years 2017, and 2019. He has won 2 golds in 400 meters hurdles category at the European Championships event held in the year 2018, once in European Indoor Championship in the same category. But the most remarkable and significant win of his career was his gold win at the Olympic Games 2021 when he finished in just 45.94 seconds it was a 400 meters hurdles race event organised in Tokyo Japan. With this, he broke a 29-year-old world record in the category. This win made him immensely popular and that was the reason why World Athletics awarded him the Male Athlete of the Year award.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Recently in an interview, he said \u201cI can also handle defeats, even though I\u2019m not used to it\u201d. In it, he talked about his defeat at the World Athletics and Field Championships. This defeat grounded him as previously he had accumulated some insignificant confidence or you can see he became egoistic. But from this defeat, he has learned a lot and the result of which was evident as he won and defended his title at the European Championships even held in Munich, Germany this year which is 2022. He finished 1st in 47.12 seconds. Yes, it must be his exceptional willpower and dedication which allowed him to win in such major events. His training was rigorous, impactful, and proper which allowed him to reach his target so well. Props to him for all the focus and determination.<\/p>\n
