Lisa Misato N\u2019jie Solberg<\/a> is a reputed Norwegian Artist and Illustrator, she is also a children\u2019s book author. Her pen name is Lisa Misato and she is known for her picture books which invoke different emotions in the viewer\u2019s mind and narrates a story through it. Her professional career started when she published some of her picture books back in 2008, that year she also worked for some other authors. Soon, people from different fields took notice of her unique style in which she illustrated and through word of mouth, some publications and magazines got to hear about her illustrations and soon published them. She became popular as more and more people saw her work, and they all appreciated her work immensely. Her illustration was so good at invoking thoughts in people\u2019s heads and carried a hidden message that only few could decipher by looking at the colour pigments laid beautifully on the paper. I\u2019d talk about some of her beautiful illustrations later in the article but for now, I\u2019d be talking about the holistic features, which are common and can be found in all of her illustrations. She mostly uses water colour to start with and first lays down a blueprint of her illustration then she proceeds to give it details and tries to add more depth to it by adding more and more intricate hidden messages. Humans are a prisoner of their feelings, one could hardly escape the gripping feelings, it\u2019s natural for all of us to feel things. She as an illustrator comments on the sad reality of life which is present nowadays in every society on every continent. Something like a simple feeling of happiness after that first touch of nature, an old life full of memories, the infinite knowledge, and power that a book gives to you, etc.<\/p>\n

1. An old happy lady with lots of memories, this particular picture shows what an old age life is like for the elderly, and provides a window that allows the younger generation to take a glimpse of what it’s like to be old, the most important thing at that point of time in life, is all the memories you have of your life.<\/p>\n

2. An illustration of the barriers constructed by electronic gadgets and the differences it creates in a relationship, between you and your partner. Yes, it\u2019s true all of us prefer to please ourselves rather than invest time in building strong person-to-person interaction and that deep connection.<\/p>\n

3. A happy childhood full of fun, when one believes the world is full of possibilities and he has all the time in this world to explore the things of his\/her choice and invest his\/her precious time in doing the things they love. But, for now, just live in the moment, and soak in the rain. PS: Yes, and a little doggo, living his life doing what he loves, accompanying humans.<\/p>\n
