Filipino entertainer, model, businessman, and athlete Santino Rosales. He received training and joined the Philippine Professional Models Association (PMAP). He walked the runway at the Ayala Style Origins: Emoticonic fashion show and was one of the models for Chris Diaz and Philip Rodriguez’s designs at the 2017 Manila Fashion Festival. Additionally, he was featured on Garage Magazine’s cover.<\/p>\n

Aside from being a model, Santino launched his eatery, which he called KAISAINT skews & beers when he was just 19 years old. His mother is a business partner.<\/p>\n

Santino Rosales, only 19 years old, has already accomplished one of his life’s ambitions: opening his own company.<\/p>\n

The opening of KAISAINT skews & brews, the son of actor Jericho Rosales and former model Kai Palomares’ first business, was slated for May 2020.<\/p>\n

In a post on Instagram dated May 16, he stated: “It has always been a significant goal of mine to launch a business at a young age.<\/p>\n

“I’m delighted I took the risk and launched my first business with my mother, Kai Pal, today.<\/p>\n

“Every day, I think of how blessed I am to have the opportunity to do this in my last year of being a teenager and to live the life I have.<\/p>\n

“The past few weeks for me have been full of emotions and revelations. I truly am grateful for everything.”<\/p>\n

On July 3, Santino shared the significance with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in a conversation via Instagram direct messaging.<\/p>\n

“KAISAINT is a combination of Kai (my mother) and Saint (my nickname),” the young runway model explained.<\/p>\n

A year ago, the mother-and-son pair started making plans for this eatery.<\/p>\n

Kai was already running her eatery at the time, KAISAINT art.food.space.<\/p>\n

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic’s uncertainties, Santino is grateful he can still manage the restaurant. He has been spending time in Paranaque City running the Kaisaint restaurant. According to the model, they had to adjust to fit into the new normal.<\/p>\n

“We were forced to adapt and were blessed enough that the government allowed us to operate. We then shifted to pushing for takeout and deliveries, which we still do now,” Santino said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.<\/p>\n

“Now we can dine in as well, but by reservation,” he added.<\/p>\n

Santino is pursuing a modelling career in addition to becoming an entrepreneur. He just finalised a management agreement with Viva.<\/p>\n

At 17, Santino made his modeling debut at an Avel Bacudio fashion show. Since then, he has joined the Professional Models Association of the Philippines (PMAP), allowing him to walk some of the country’s most famous catwalks.<\/p>\n

He commented that he wanted to establish himself and choose a different career route from his father, one of the great actors in the Philippines.<\/p>\n
