For me, festivals always meant a get together with all my cousins and friends who would come home for Dussehra. These are the times I sit back with my cousins and friends and have our gala chat sessions. I remember discussing with them how the gifts that we give ourselves and our families have grown costlier over the years. Like in my younger days, I used to gift my cousins un-branded clothes, now all of them have turned branded. Take myself, for example, I started my tours just around India; now I often travel abroad. All our demands and the gifts we give have only grown costlier over the years.
