"A photographer by Passion” that’s how I would describe myself. Hailing from Trivandrum- the capital city of God’s own country- Kerala, I found my passion for photography while doing my graduation in Mechanical Engineering. While it started for fun, as I clicked my first few frames, I realized how it got more serious and liked the kick of it. To pursue further, I started with minor projects like weddings, events & short films during my post-graduation. It wasn’t long before I realized Photography made me feel complete and fearless. In 2015, I was selected to the prestigious National Institute of Design for M.Des in Film and Video Communication, in my first attempt. Because of financial issues, that dream was never realized. Being denied chances to pursue my genuine passion, all the while handling a full-time job as an Assistant Professor in Engineering was a depressing turn of my life. Having mustered the courage after 2 years of work, I quit my job and started clicking my camera relentlessly. In a short time, got back on track with a few Ad- films and Corporate videos. Now I have completed an indie feature film "Vrithakrithiyilulla Chaturam- A Minor Inconvenience" as Associate Cinematographer which got selected in IFFK 2019 in the International competition section. I worked as DOP for a web series “Ennum Varunna Dhoomakedhu” which got selected for "Seol web fest 2020" and I'm working on an indie feature film. I have been part of various advertisements, corporate films and documentary films. I am also a part of a social initiative called ‘KATHA’, a narrative about real people, their fine acts of humanity which alters the life around, for the better. These are stories about initiatives, topics, and causes that have a real impact on a being or society.
