When breath becomes air by Paul Kalanithi Starting from my favourite quote from this book, “You can’t ever reach perfection, but you can believe in an asymptote towards which you are carelessly striving” A real- life story of a neuro surgeon who was all the way unaware about where the life was taking him. And it was too late by the time he came to know that he is left with some limited life span. The heart wrenching, autobiography of a person who saved many lives even in his short period of life. He was believed to be too perfect for his age. Leaving behind a message that we need a big life not a longer one. The uncertainty can daunt us in any age and any phase of our life. we should enjoy every bit of it when we have time. An instance of emotionally broken but still supportive family who kept his will to live a way longer. We learn from sorrows, that’s what they are served us for. “Mixing memory and desire, stirring/Dull roots with spring rain.”
