Smile And breathe. In the face of so much anxiety, disappointments and self doubts, it becomes imperative to stay positive and know that time has a strong tendency to change. At every point of life, there is always something or the other lacking, which, we become so busy in chasing or not acknowledging. This whole cycle is unending and it keeps one away from feeling happy and aware about the present. Ideas of being joyful because you're alive, there are people who love you, there is something better in stock for you... etc are all probably true, but at times it doesnt cut the darkness that we feel. The first step, in my honest opinion, is to acknowledge that you're sad. It's okay to accept that a friend moving ahead in life made you miserable, you feeling stuck or losing a job or being unsuccessfull etc. is something that entitles you to a time of low. It's okay. Just breathe. And then smile. Smile because you still have you, the body and the unbroken spirit that has been taking all the hits and still is a great human Smile because you feel pain and sadness which makes you so beautifully empathetic, smile because everything said and done, your experience is yours alone and no one can take it away from you. Oh.. and dance or just bob your head ... just move to some music, when you feel the beautiful life energy pulsating within you.... you will know none of those things truly matter and that you are amazing and absolutely capable.
