When in Devgad or any part of Konkan west coast, do not miss the Crab and fish Thali. The varietues of fish are marinated in spicy masala and then deeply fried which is served with coconut curry. The landlady where we were staying used to go to market in early morning to get fresh crabs to make curry. The deep fried seafood is served with coconut curry. The special drink among the spread is Solkadhi. It is made with fresh coconut milk and Amsul. Its a great drunk to combat the summer dehydration.
