Air Canada operates out of Terminal 1 at Narita International Airport (NRT), and my experience there was seamless and enjoyable throughout. The Air Canada NRT Terminal is tidy, contemporary, and well-structured, featuring abundant English signage that facilitates navigation—especially for newcomers. The check-in procedure at the Air Canada desk was effective, featuring pleasant employees who were both courteous and welcoming, creating a wonderful initial impression. The security lines progressed at a steady speed, and the personnel were polite all the way through. Upon entering, the variety of lounges, stores, and dining choices enhanced the ease of the wait prior to boarding. The Maple Leaf Lounge, available to those with access, is a notably calming place offering a nice variety of snacks and beverages. In general, the friendliness and effectiveness of Air Canada’s NRT Terminal 1 arrangement provided a truly inviting beginning to the trip. I would certainly suggest taking a flight from this location.
