YOGA The purpose of YOGA is to pore the light of awareness in the darkest corners of the body. It aims at teaching the principles of life. Yoga is not about touching the toes but actually it's about what you learn down the road. It is based on 5 main principles: 1. Proper exercise 2. Proper breathing 3. Proper relaxation 4. Proper diet and nutrition 5. Positive thinking and meditation. Meditation is the practice of talking to your soul. And so is the motto of Yoga, it aims at "meeting of atma with parmatma." Apart from what we all know, Yoga teaches us discipline and virtues in life. It keeps our body and mind fit and healthy. It also teaches us to inhale the future and exhale the past.
