CHANGE IS INEVITABLE. – Sounds familiar? Change happens whether we like it or not. Even if we do nothing, the world around us can change in a snap, forcing us to either adapt to it or be affected by it. What can help all of us process change better? 1. Have an open mind - Understand the change and the reasons behind it. We may not fully understand everything in the moment, but having better knowledge on the why’s and how’s of any change can help us process it logically. 2. Immerse yourself - Being immersed in the early stages of change will help you see things clearly. It may also help you make better decisions, or help your leaders make informed ones, as you proactively engage in the change process. 3. Ask the question – How can this change be positive for me/for everyone? - If you’re feeling particularly resistant to a specific change, re-frame your mind and answer this question. It will help you remove any change biases and maybe even help you embrace the change. Still having reservations? Ask the person who initiated the change this question. Transparency in implementing changes is always a great practice. Change is indeed inevitable. But with the right mindset, you can always come out on top – ready for the next change. #change
