NAVRATRI DAY 8
On the 8th day of Navratri, Hindu devotees worship Maa Mahagauri Devi. The day is also known as Maha Ashtami. The term Gauri signifies that she is the daughter of Giri or mountain. She rides on a bull holding a trident in her hands along with a damaru.
