Do you know, this very famous dish called "Dum Aloo" is originated from our magnificent Kashmir valley, the flavours are as rich as their culture. I think this added upon the list to thank Kashmir for; ?✨ . . . Scroll down to know the full recipe of it ; . . . . . . . Serves : 4 Ingredients; 1. Boiled potatoes - 10/12 baby potatoes 2. Oil - 2tbsp 3. Jeera - 1/2 tsp 4. Green chilly - 1 or 2 5. Onion - 2 6. Tomato - 1 7. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp 8. Saunf powder - 1 tsp 9. Red chilli powder - 2 tbsp 10. Curd - 1 cup 11. Salt - as per taste 12. Garlic - 4/5 cloves 13. Ginger - 1/2 inch 14. Amchur powder - 1 tsp 15. Kasuri methi - just for the flavor 16. Oil for frying Procedure; 1.Fry the boiled, peeled potatoes till it's little brown. 2. Make the onion, garlic,ginger and tomato paste , also add 1 tbsp of red chilli powder in it. 3. Place a pan, add oil, jeera, and the paste of onion and tomato into it. 4. Now , add all the powdered spices in it and let it simmer for 4/5 mins. 5. Once the oil comes out, the gravy is sauteed, take a bowl of curd and add red chilli powder into it, and also amchur powder. 6. Whisk the curd and add into our gravy, give it a good stir and let it cook for another 10 mins. 7. Now, add the fried potatoes into it and cook for another 2 minutes. 8. For the last thing, crush some kasuri methi with your hands and add it to the top of it. 9.Garnish it with the fresh coriander leaves and serve it with lachha paratha or wheat flour paratha. . . . .
