As a teenager I used to rant in front of my mom about how much I hate the thickness of my thighs and asked her to only buy me clothes which covered my hips so that nobody notices the fat (which anyway people might not have noticed) but those insecurities and fear of judgement never allowed me to have that confidence. Now, I’m 22 and it’s been a long way. I still think twice before purchasing something but it’s not the fat that concerns me anymore, it’s the price tag.
