Picked up the closest place to visit last weekend , i.e. Ranthambore . It was a very soothing and much needed vacation. Road trips are always fun , with music on , family giggles and lots of food and fun on the way . Stayed in a beautiful property there it was surrounded by greenery and a beautiful pool side view , which probably was the perfect view to come across first thing after waking up the next day . Attended Ganesh aarti that honestly was the most soothing music my ears have heard since a long time . There’s this cute myth of that temple , “If you build a home with stones kept there , like a very basic one , placing one brick on another just like that and praying to lord Ganesha in no time you have your own real property “ So we collected 3-4 stones and placed them together . Not like that’s the first time we did it , we visit this temple almost every year and we do follow this trend and luckily every year we do manage to have an add on to our properties. Touchwood. Then later on after having our lunch we signed up for tiger safari. Sat in a cool jeep and entered zone 6 in search of a tiger , we did not however spot any tiger but yeah a lot other animals and birds . Served biscuits to kingfisher ( bird ) , came across Deer , jackal , owl , etc. It was extremely cold and we were literally shivering our way back to hotel . Then sat in a bonfire in our hotel they had some raj music arrangements so attended that had a gala time , ate our dinner . Back to our home the next day via road. Loved it ! A much needed short and nearby weekend vacation. #cshalatraveldiaries
