It was not long when i visited the "Princess of Hill stations" - Kodaikanal. Kodaikanal is a city in the hills of the Dindigul district in the state of Tamil Nadu, India , which means "The Gift of the Forest" in Tamil . The ideal time to visit is in the winter between October and March. This is when the weather is at its best. My favourite spot was the Kodai Lake that lays in the heart of Kodaikanal, is a star shaped man made lake . Boating, horse riding, cycling and angling are a few of the adventure activities tourists can appease themselves with, near the lake. And you cannot miss the sunrise or sunset which is unforgettable when you witness it from a hill station. In a hilly backdrop, these are the time when you can view nature’s full-color palette displayed on the sky.
