|Malai Cake with Rabri| Malai Cake with Rabri is a fusion cake recipe, which tastes heavenly with the Indian flours. If you are a sweet lover, you should definitely try this recipe you would love it.? It is a cardamom flavored cake, the layers of which are soaked with thickened, sweetened milk infused with cardamom and saffron, dressed up with nuts and dry fruits.? Recipe: 1. Mix One-third cup of oil and yogurt, and add half cup powdered sugar together. Add 1 cup Maida, 1 teaspoon baking powder, half teaspoon baking soda, and mix well. 2. Pour 1 cup of milk in intervals till consistency becomes like cakes batter. Take a baking dish and cover it with oil and then pour the mixture. Let it steam for 30- 35 minutes on low-medium flame. 3. Rabri - Boil 1-liter of full-fat milk and add 3 tablespoon sugar, half teaspoon cardamom powder, and saffron. Boil on high flame till the milk starts boiling. Stir continuously till the milk is reduced in half and reduce the flame. Turn off the flame and let it cool down. 4. Take the cake out of the steamer and make tiny holes on the surface and pour rabri over it. 5. Garnish with finely chopped almond and pistachio and saffron. And enjoy this delicious treat.
