LOOSEN-UP (MENSWEAR) Men’s fashion in the near past has been all skinny cuts and fitted blazer. This year we are moving away from what has been going on in 2019. Considering the current world scenario and other aspects, we can safely say that this is the year to experiment. Trends work like a clock and oversized suitings are back again, only this time it’s for leisure and not for work. Suit pieces have hit the street and sure going to stay longer this time. The broad line between casual and formal have been blurred and there remains absolutely no reason for you to not try it yourself. There is gonna be more glamour than ever now. Oversized silhouettes have been there for a long time now. This trend is here and serves a bigger purpose than just being worn to traditional/formal gatherings. It has become a fashion statement. Comfortable knit fabric, breathable silhouette is what gonna take the market by storm. It takes easy on your body to carry yet will make feel sexy and smooth. Just how you would like it.

There was a time I would completely stop doing anything at all, and wait for the acne to clear up - which it sometimes would quickly and at other times not. But that I don't think is the best way to go about things as even underneath the pimples, your skin needs nourishment as much as ever. So now, this is what I do: Stop using all greasy products Wash the zit area very delicately Splash your face with cold water every now and then - especially in high humidity Wipe the face dry with a facial tissue Be quick with the application of topical anti-acne creams (or they aren't as effective) Keep up the use of a calamine lotion on the rest of the face (you don't want to leave your skin bare) Anti-acne facial oils are A-OK to use (because they nourish your skin while also treating the acne) Continue using the eye cream Continue moisturizing the neck area Don't oil your hair Isolate the cause of the acne and treat it effectively Products I use for this regimen: Aloe cleansing foam by @thefaceshopindia_official Calamine lotion Nykaa Skin Potion Anti-acne facial oil and tea tree essential oil by @nykaabeauty Advanced Night Repair Eye Supercharged Complex Synchronized Recovery cream by @esteelauder Maritime Naturals Retinol cream by @maritimenaturals To find out everything you need to know about skincare during breakouts, head here: https://oilyskindiaries.com/2020/06/04/skincare-for-when-youre-breaking-out-heres-exactly-what-to-do/
Read MoreLet's talk about post-partum skincare! . Motherhood changes our lives. But it can also change our skin, and not always for the better. The triple stressors of pregnancy, childbirth, and the new life with a child reflect badly on the skin. Changing this state of affairs requires work. . But a new mom is sleep-deprived and exhausted. Which is why the recovery skincare routine has to be minimalistic and yet effective. . I started putting together a skincare regimen for myself (for the first time in my life) when I was two months post-partum. I'm more or less following the same one today. It helped me turn my skin from looking dull and being acne-ridden to glowing from within by the time my son was a year old. . Improving your skin doesn't require exotic facials or expensive treatments. Nor does it require expensive products. But it does require you to do a little bit of research to find the right products for yourself and then use them regularly. . What worked for me: Finding a cleaner face wash (more natural ingredients than chemicals) Finding a cleaner, genuinely hydrating moisturizer (instead of a greasy one) Finding and using the right kind of facial oils - super important . Once you've done the above, you don't need to do much else. A nightly skin routine comprising these basic ingredients will get you very good results in a short amount of time. You can add more products later on but the basic structure remains the same. Read more at: https://oilyskindiaries.com/2020/05/26/post-partum-skincare-4-step-routine-to-revitalize-your-skin/
Read MoreMonsoon is the worst season for my hair (and my skin, and my hormones, but that's a different story.) I have dry hair which goes all frizzy and unmanageable in humid weather. But over the years I've found a few products and techniques that not only keep the frizz at bay but also lend a healthy shine to my tresses. If you have similar hair woes, this might help you too! I swear by the Argan Hair Mask by @mamaearth.in Apply on dry hair 20 to 25 minutes before shower time and then simply wash it away with shampoo. No conditioner needed. It's such a timesaver for busy moms and busy everybody out there. The result is ultra smooth hair that stays that way for 2 to 3 days. I'm currently loving the Apple Cider Vinegar shampoo by @wowskinscienceindia . Gives you a squeaky clean scalp, and soft and great smelling hair. For heat protection I use the streax hair serum, which has worked great for me. For when I don't have the time to apply a mask beforehand, or if I decide to wash my hair on a whim, I use the Wella Elements hair mask by @wellaprofessionals as a conditioner. Gives you soft lustrous hair. Read about this on my blog in detail. (Link is in the bio.) What else you can do for lively hair this season: Wash your hair frequently, keep the dandruff at bay Add argan essential oil to your shampoo for extra shine Use tea tree oil or peppermint oil to target dandruff Use a strong hair smoothing mask ( i don't recommend oiling the hair in this season) You can use homemade hair masks Use a deep conditioner - Leave in the product longer than usual Let the hair dry naturally If you must blow dry, do so with the nozzle facing downwards Use a heat protection serum Sleep on a silk pillow case How are you caring for your hair this season? Read MoreThe secret to a long-lasting pout is in the base. So that the colours just glide on, even the matte ones, and stay looking fresh. Here's how to create the base. Step 1. Exfoliate with a mild lip scrub Step 2. Apply an intensely hydrating lip balm. Do this early on so by the time your face makeup is done the product has had the time to sink into the lips. Step 3. Apply concealer around the lip area to even out the skin tone Step 4. When applying foundation to the face, go over the lips as well with a beauty blender. This cancels out your natural lip colour and brings out the original colour of the lipstick. However, this step requires a strong lip balm underneath or the foundation will settle in the fine lines and you can forget all about billboard-worthy lips. This step is also crucial in making sure the lippie stays on for longer. Step 5. Line your lips with a shade closest to that of your chosen lipstick. Step 6. Fill in with the lipstick but be very precise with the application. Follow the contour of your lips carefully, whether you are overdrawing or underdrawing.
