🥟 Chicken Sha Phaley 🥟 This wonderful dish of Tibetan origin is literally heaven on your taste buds. Everyone loves bread, everyone loves meat, everyone loves the deep fried stuff, and Sha Phaley has all three. Bread stuffed with ground beef and cabbage made into semi circle or circle and then deep fried is everything that you need to know about this dish. Crispy on the outside and heavenly on the inside, this is what you get when you take the first bite into the golden semi circle. With different people having different demands a lot of variations have been done to the traditional dish, and people have readily accepted the addition of chicken, cheese and tofu to the stuffing. If you are a vegan even then, you can enjoy this delicacy with the tofu fillings. The Roll House in Gangtok is the best place to try one of these. Ingredients_ 250 grms minced chicken 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste or (finely chopped ginger garlic 1_1 tbsp) 2 onion finely chopped 2 tbsp chopped spring onions 2 tbsp coriander leaves finely chopped 2_3 green chillies finely chopped 1 tsp black pepper powder 1 tbsp soy sauce salt to taste For dough_ 4 cup all purpose flour water for kneading Salt to taste Method_ Prepare the Filling_ Heat oil in a pan, add onion and sauté till it turns translucent. Add ginger-garlic paste, and stir it well till the raw smell goes away. Add minced chicken, saute it well (it will turn like scrambled egg) and allow it to cook (if needed sprinkle some water). Once it is almost cooked, add black pepper powder, salt, soy sauce and saute few minutes. Now add Coriander leaves, chopped green chillies, chopped spring onions and mix well. Dough Preparation_ Start two hours before cooking Mix flour and water, forming a ball Knead at least 5 minutes until dough is smooth and flexible Place dough in a dish with a lid, or cover with plastic wrap. Let rest for 2 or more hours so that the dough will be softer when shaping the shapale. Roll out Dough_ Take the dough, and knead it again. Cut it into small pieces and make them into small balls. Dust the small dough balls in all-purpose flour. Roll all dough balls in circle shape (diameter of the circles is approximately 3.5 inches, or 8 centimeters.) Set the circles of dough aside. Fill and Shape the Shapale Place a heaping 3 tablespoon filling on one circle of dough, then place a second circle of dough on top of the first one. Pinch the edges flat together very firmly — going all around the circle. This is important as you don’t want the filling to come out. Then, start anywhere on the circle, fold over a small piece of the edge, and pinch it down, repeating this all around the circle. This results in a crimped, pretty edge. Keep the shapale you have finished on a lightly oiled flat dish or surface, to avoid the dough sticking on to the surface. If the shapale are going to be sitting for a long time, you can place a damp cloth over them to keep them from drying out. Heat sufficient oil in a pan and deep fry phaley on medium heat. Cook until golden brown on both sides, turning frequently. Serve hot with your favourite Sauce or chutney. #chicken #shaphaley #shabhaley #sikkimfood #nonveglover #nonvegrecipes #tibetanfood #spicy #streefood #streetfoodindia #streedfoodlovers #sikkim #nonveg #friedfood #foodforsoul #foodfest #delhifood #mumbaifood #mumbaifoodies #sikkimdiaries #nepalifood #sikkim #uzmaseasyrecipes #foodiesofcreatorshala #foodbloggersofinstagram #artofplating #foodbloggersofcreatorshala #creatorshala

❤️ Idli Sambhar ❤️ Idli is a popular South Indian dish which is loved and relished across the country. It is a typical dish made from batter prepared from rice, urad dal, Bengal daal, and a few other kinds of cereal as well. Nowadays, people prefer making idlis from Semolina (Rava) as they also taste unique and delicious. This idli sambar is also one of the best tiffin sambar recipe. This hotel style sambar was damn good with idli. And also idli sambar and vada sambar are all time favorite at home. We should care about the Earth. It's the only planet that has mangoes...🥭🥭🥭 22 July is #nationalmangoday a whole dedicated to one thing – eating mangoes! 5000 years ago, mangoes were first cultivated in India before they spread to Southeast Asia. In the 10th century AD, cultivation of this deliciously sweet and juicy fruit began in East Africa. It is said that the paisley pattern developed in India is based on the shape of the mango. The mango is also the national fruit of India, Pakistan and the Phillipines. In Bangladesh, the mango tree is the national tree. Since 1987, an international mango festival is held in New Dehli, India. It includes more than 50 mango growers from across the country. During this festival, there are competitions and quizzes on the many aspects of mangoes, including different uses in cuisine, as well as the many different varieties (more than 550). Mangoes are cultivated in most frost-free tropical climates, with almost half of the world’s mango supply harvested in India. The second largest source is China. Some fun facts about mangoes, include: • 20 million tons of mangoes are grown annually. • They are related to cashews and pistachios. • They provide 100 per cent of your daily vitamin C • A basket of mangoes is a gesture of friendship in India. • Mango trees can grow as tall as 30 metres! • Most of the mangoes sold in the US come from Mexico, Peru, Ecuador, Brazil, Guatemala, and Haiti. • There are also mango festivals in other places, including Canada, Jamaica, the Philippines, and the USA. 🥭🥭🥭🥭🥭🥭🥭🥭🥭🥭🥭🥭🥭 Ingredients– For the base :digestive biscuits, marigold or any plain cookies crushed 150 gms butter melted 1/2 cups For the filling : whipping cream 3/4 cups cream cheese 300 gms mango pulp 1/2 cups fresh lemon juice 2 tbsp Gelatin or Agar Agar 5 tbsp water 120 ml For the topping : mango pulp • some mango slices 3-4 tbsp Method– Crush The Biscuits Using A Food Processor Or By Placing Them Into A Ziplock Bag And Smashing Them With A Rolling Pin. Stir The Crumbs With D Melted Butter N Press On The Bottom Of An 8-Inch(20cm) Springform Tin. Set The Base Aside. In A Bowl, Whip The Heavy Cream Until The Result Is Soft Peaks. Beat In The Cream Cheese. Then Add In The Mango Pulp And Fresh Lemon Juice Until Everything Is Smooth. In A Microwave Safe Bowl, Stir Together The Gelatin And Water. Let The Mixture Stand For About 5 Minutes To Bloom And Thicken, Then Dissolve In The Microwave Over 15 Second Increments Or Over A Stovetop Over Low Heat, Stirring Constantly. Gradually Drip In 6 Tablespoons Of The Cheesecake Batter Stirring Continuously. Work Quickly As The Gelatin Will Begin To Set As Soon As It Has Been Melted. Add The Tempered Gelatin To The Rest Of The Cheesecake Batter Stirring Immediately After It Has Been Added. Pour The Filling Into The Springform Pan And Dollop With The Mango Pulp. Using A Toothpick. Swirl The Pulp Into The Cheesecake- But Beware, Over- Swirling Is Actually Over- Mixing And You'll End Up With A Messy Surface Devoid Of A Swirl Pattern. Chill The Cheesecake For A Minimum Of 6 Hours Or Overnight, Until Set. Garnish With Fresh Mango Slices And Mango Pulp And Serve Chilled. #uzmaseasyrecipes #mangoday #mango #mangolove #creatorshala #mangocheesecake #mangorecipes #mumbaistreetfoodlovers #streefood #streetfoodindia #potd #streetfoodlovers #foodie #foodiesofinstagram #shotoneplus #desikhana #delhifood #delhifoodies #foodblogger #foodforsoul #foodmaniacindia #timesnowfoodie #yesindiafood #theuncommonbox #northindianfood #mumbaifood #mumbaistreetfood #foodiesofindia

Happy Father’s Day to ALL fathers…especially to the ones who love unconditionally without expecting anything in return… The first person who taught you how to ride a bike, play chess or the one who strictly waited for you after late-night parties. Our fathers play a special role in our life and they deserve every source of happiness. We celebrate Father's Day to honour our dads and this is the day to tell them how special they are for you! Celebrated on the third Sunday of every June, Father's Day was first marked in the United States on June 19, 1910, to honour fathers across the country and all the father figures. Interestingly, it was a woman who started the celebration of a day. Sonora Smart Dodd, an American woman was raised by her dad after their mother passed away and was bothered since there wasn't a day to express gratitude for whatever he did. While she wanted the celebrations to be held nationwide on her father's birthday, June 05, planning difficulties pushed the day to be marked on June 19, 1910. #foodaddiction #uzmaseasyrecipes #happyfathersday #fathersday #dad #Foodart #dadinheaven #papa #streefood #daslove #potd #cuteart #foodie #foodiesofinstagram #shotoneplus #fathersdayfoodart #foodartvideo #delhifood #delhifoodies #foodblogger #timesnowfoodie #missudad #luvudad #creatorshala #northindianfood #mumbaifood #mumbaistreetfood #foodiesofindia
